Kia ora folks, I'm Giscarde and I'm an illustrator & graphic designer from Aotearoa New Zealand!

I was born in South Africa and moved to Aotearoa New Zealand with my folks and brother when I was younger, but spent my formative years in Aotearoa. At high school and university I got my passion for the arts and creative industries early on, watching a ton of movies. Star Wars, The Terminator, Last of the Mohicans, the list goes on and on and on! Working in a video store (when they still existed!) was definitely one of my favorite jobs!

I am a massive boardgame nut, and when not spending time nerding out on the design work of the games themselves, I'm playing them enthusiastically. I am partial to tabletop wargaming like Warhammer, where painting and building the army is my creative outlet outside of my design work.

I have spent a little over a decade working on and refining my design process to make your experience the best it can be as I believe it is a collaborative process where we build a relationship together to achieve visual outcomes for you.
